Car history: |
1972 Corvette Stingray T Top car. This car has the original motor and transmission, never restored. It is in great shape drives great as well. I have many up grades to it but I have also all the original equipment to go back on the car. The motor was rebuilt two years ago to a 383 stroker mild cam so all the vacuum still operates correctly. I have the HEI distributor that works with the stock RPM gage. There is an all aluminum radiator with electric fans with automatic temperature sensor set to kick on at 180 deg. The ac compressor and the lines were replaced 4 years ago. AC works good. The power windows work good, the clock I replaced with the new quarts so the time is always right on. The center Bevel where the radio goes is also new for the up dated radio with AX port for phones. I have the original also I have new speakers installed in the dash and back of the car. The interior is the original color and in great shape. I have installed the springs in the front with all the new bushings. In the back I have the fiber glass spring kit with all new bushings and arms. This has been four wheel aligned and sits perfect. The stance of the car is adjustable to your driving style. Again I have all the original parts for the car. The frame pockets are perfect no rust anywhere on this southern car. I have a heat and air condition shop where I keep these cars. I do drive them, that is what they are for. This car needs nothing other than a good friend to care for it. I have the tank build sheet from when I put a new gas tank in the car. This is in a plastic page for safe keeping. I have had this beautiful car for 7 years and just looking for something different now. I would drive this car across the county any day. The best part about that is you can stop at any parts store and fix it If needed, Not like todays new cars. In 7 years I have only put 4500 miles on the car. I do have a cloth breathable cover for this car. Color codes from the trim plate. Built date is L18. 24,759 miles from the odometer (compteur bricol??). $15,000 and running (RnM). March 27, 2015. |
